Tuludi is a luxurious and stylish camp located on the 500,000 acre Khwai Private Reserve which connects the Moremi Game Reserve with Chobe National Park. Nestled in a leadwood forest on the edge of a floodplain, Tuludi's open, airy design echoes the vast space of the Khwai Reserve, and the camp combines outstanding game-viewing with a wide range of activities by which to explore the Private Reserve.
The Khwai Private Reserve occupies a unique location in northern Botswana, essentially linking the country's two most wildlife rich ecosystems - the Reserve lies in the northern reaches of the Okavango Delta (adjoining the Moremi Game Reserve), and stretches all the way to the western boundary of Chobe Park, encompassing an enormous diversity of habitats within its 500,000 acres. Tuludi Camp enjoys a prime location, within easy striking distance of the Khwai River and its tributaries, which are the lifeblood of the Reserve.
Year-round, Tuludi offers outstanding game-viewing, with day and night game-drives being the primary focus for activities. Walking safaris are also offered year-round, providing a more hands-on and personal way to experience the Okavango ecosystem. During the Delta flood season, from April to October, boating safaris and mekoro (dug out canoe) excursions provide access to the life-giving channels and the aquatic species that they support.
Wooden boardwalks wind through ancient leadwood trees to connect the camp’s seven “treehouse-style” tented rooms elevated above the floodplains. The spacious interiors are sophisticated and warm, decorated with a soothing earthy palette. Amenities include separate dressing and sleeping areas, an en suite bathroom, indoor and outdoor showers, and a soaking tub. A sunken seating area and private plunge pool are set into the veranda overlooking the spectacular landscape surrounding camp.
The lofty main area is raised on decking and strewn with cushions, sofas and armchairs, with a perfect view to the sunset. The dining area is adjacent with its fire pit set just steps away. There is also a large swimming pool, a treehouse library, and a trove of treasures that tell the story of both the camp and the extraordinary ecosystem. Every detail at Tuludi is attended to, with a nod to refined sophisticated elegance.
