Kruger ParkThe Kruger National Park is one of Africa's premier game reserves. Established over a century ago, the Kruger Park today comprises over 5,5 million acres of game-rich African bush - a wilderness area larger than Massachusetts, Wales, or Israel. The best way of experiencing 'Kruger' is at one of the Private Game Reserves that adjoin the public part of the Park. These private reserves occupy prime habitat, making for what is arguably the best 'Big Five' (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo) game-viewing in Africa. There are also strict controls over the number of guests in the private reserves, and the number of vehicles at any wildlife sighting, preventing overcrowding and ensuring a private and exclusive safari experience. The private reserves do not need to follow the stringent regulations in the public part of Kruger, and they are able to offer night drives, walking, and off-road driving in pursuit of wildlife.
