The Lake and its shoreline are the highlight of Matusadona Park, and the focus of the Changa experience. The lake itself is home to abundant fish-life, as well as hippos and crocodiles, while the rich vegetation that fringes the lake supports a wide spectrum of terrestrial species, including the “Big Five”. With the lake and mountains as backdrop, this is as beautiful a setting to view wildlife as anywhere in Africa. 
Changa Camp itself is a simple but elegant luxury tented camp that blends unobtrusively into the surrounding bush. The camp’s 8 canvas suites and all common areas are oriented to maximize lake views and take advantage of natural shade trees. Each expansive canvas suite boasts en-suite facilities with an “open air” shower and bathtub, electric lighting and fan, as well as a private veranda. The central guest area, with pool, dining room, bar, and deck leads via spiral staircase to a white, sandy beach – the perfect spot for a romantic, candle-lit dinner! 
Activities are many and varied, and include game-drives, walking safaris, boating safaris, and fishing - whether land or water-based, excursions concentrate on the rich biodiversity along the shores of Lake Kariba, with its many inlets and streams. As the dry season progresses, large herds of elephant and buffalo characteristically come to slake their thirst, and antelope rarely venture far from the water’s edge; this concentration of prey species in turn attracts predators, with lions prominent.
