Sample 7: The Ultimate Migration Safari



Day 1

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (Arusha). You will be met by a representative of our local partners who will transfer you by private vehicle to Legendary Lodge, where you will overnight on a fully inclusive basis (including Accommodation, All meals, House wines, beers, local spirits, water, juice and soft drinks, Laundry service, Mini-bar and fruit basket, Complimentary internet and calls to the USA).


Day 2

This morning your private safari guide will collect you at Legendary Lodge and transfer you in your private safari vehicle to the Ngorongoro Crater (roughly 2.5 hours). From the Park Entrance it is roughly a 1 hour drive to Ngorongoro Crater Lodge.

Days 2-4

Spend two nights at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge in a suite on a full board basis (including Accommodation, three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, teas and coffees, and laundry).

Day 3

Early this morning your private guide will take you on a "Crater Descent" into the Ngorongoro Crater to experience the beauty and abundant wildlife of one of Africa's most impressive natural wonders.

Day 4

This morning your private guide will transfer you to Lake Manyara Airstrip, where you will bid him farewell. Transfer by shared charter flight to Sasakwa Airstrip (1hr30min). Transfer by safari vehicle to Singita Sasakwa Lodge.

Days 4-7

Spend three nights at Singita Sasakwa Lodge in one Suite (including accommodation, all meals, all drinks (excluding champagne and vintage wines on the connoisseurs wine list), laundry, open Land Rover safaris accompanied by an experienced guide, walking and mountain biking safaris accompanied by an experienced guide). 

Day 7

Today you will be collected (with a packed lunch) and transferred by shared charter aircraft to Tarime Airstrip (1 hour). You will be met and transferred by air conditioned mini-bus to Migori Airstrip on the Kenyan side of the border  (your transfer driver will assist with border formalities), from where you will be transferred by shared charter aircraft to Mara Plains Camp.

Days 7-10

Spend three nights at Mara Plains Camp in one Tented Suite, on a fully inclusive basis  (including Accommodation, All meals, All beverages, Day and night game drives, Walking safaris,  and Laundry service.

Day 10

Today you will be collected and transferred by shared charter aircraft to Nairobi's Wilson International Airport (1hr15min).  Upon arrival you will be met by your private guide who will take you on an afternoon tour of some of Nairobi's conservation highlights, including the Giraffe Center and David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (elephant orphanage). At the end of the tour you will be delivered to the Ole Sereni Hotel, where you will be able to relax and enjoy dinner. This evening you will be transferred by private vehicle to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where the safari ends.
