Pack for a Purpose at Wilderness Safaris Camps

As you will see from your packing lists, you really don't need to take much on safari. From personal experience we find we still have space in our bags after packing for two weeks away. If you have the same experience, please consider bringing supplies for the Pack for a Purpose partner project. For example, for just 5lbs you can bring 400 pencils, or 5 deflated soccer balls with an inflation device, or a stethoscope, a blood pressure cuff and 500 Band-Aids. "If 500 individuals each pack 5 lbs we can provide 1.25 tons of supplies to community-based projects around the world..." Wilderness Safaris camp staff throughout southern Africa will deliver the materials to communities in need – just give them to camp management, and thank you!
