Luggage Trolly
Eagle Creek has stopped producing the "No Matter What" rolling duffel bag. If you will be travelling on charter flights and are restricted to soft-sided luggage, but still would like the convenience of wheels, we would suggest that you purchase a regular duffel bag, such as the Battinkill Classic, Beretta Waxwear Duffle, or Dalix Adventure Sport and purchase a lightweight foldable luggage cart (such as Samsonite) to transport it at the airports. The cart can be stored inside the duffel while flying.

Plastic Bag Ban in Tanzania and Kenya
Please remember that single-use plastic bags (such as shopping bags and zip-loc bags) are banned in Kenya and Tanzania, and the government is adhering to the ban strictly. As an alternative, we recommend the TSA-approved clear toiletry bags by ALINK (or similar), for your toiletries and miscellaneous items.

Devil's Pool Re-Opens
For those serious adrenalin junkies – known as "Life on the Edge" swimmers – you will be pleased to learn that Devil's Pool on the Edge of Victoria Falls has re-opened as a result of dropping water levels. If you will be staying at Toka Leya, Tongabezi or the Royal Livingstone on the Zambian side of the Victoria Falls and would like to schedule a hair-raising excursion, please contact us.

Air France Increases Flights to Kenya
Air France has begun five times weekly flights between Paris and Nairobi with an increase to daily direct flights planned to begin in 2020.
