Travel + Leisure has released its "World's Best" list. Classic Africa's portfolio properties in the "Ten Top Safari Lodges in Africa" category include (with their rankings):  

No. 8: Singita Kruger National Park, South Africa     

No. 5: Tongabezi Lodge, Livingstone, Zambia

No. 4: Mombo Camp and Little Mombo Camp, Moremi Game Reserve, Botswana

No. 3: Singita Sabi Sand, Sabi Sand Game Reserve, South Africa

No. 2: Londolozi, Sabi Sand Game Reserve, South Africa

No. 1: Singita Grumeti, Serengeti National Area, Tanzania

Wilderness Safaris Linkwasha Camp has been recognized in Condé Nast Traveller's prestigious 2016 Hot List as one of the best new hotels in the world, as well as the hottest new opening in Zimbabwe.

South African Airways has strengthened its global position by being awarded a 4-Star rating through the SkyTrax star ranking audit for the 14th consecutive year, which recognizes continued quality improvement in their on-board product and service.

At the African Responsible Tourism Awards held in Cape Town, Mara Naboisho Conservancy in southern Kenya won the Overall Award for 2016 and was a joint winner with Ol Pejeta Conservancy in the Best for Wildlife Conservation category.

Chef Luke Dale-Roberts and his team from Test Kitchen, Cape Town, have been placed No. 22 atthe 2016 "World's 50 Best Restaurant Awards," they have also been voted the Best Restaurant in Africa.

North Island has won the National Energy Globe Award Seychelles for its successful initiative to reduce the consumption of bottled water on the Island. Hoanib Skeleton Coast, Namibia, has won the same award for the exemplary design of its solar conversion program.
