Xigera Safari Lodge Unveiled
As one of the most established safari concessions in the Okavango Delta, we’re pleased to report that Xigera has reopened as a bold new expression of luxury-in-the-wilderness.
Now called Xigera Safari Lodge, the property features just 12 stylish and luxurious suites, each boasting nearly 2,000 square feet of living space. Lodge facilities include an air-conditioned gym, spa, library, and 30 foot sculptural tree-house, where guests can enjoy an adventurous sleep-out under the stars. Every surface and object has been hand-crafted, and the lodge is adorned by an impressive collection of contemporary African art.
Wellness is a priority, with African-inspired cuisine and regenerative spa treatments that complement the healing powers of the natural setting. An “Anything, Anytime” approach to dining allows guests to fully unwind and soak up the magic of safari, while a 5:1 staff-to-guest ratio ensures complete flexibility and attention to detail.
Of course safari is what it’s all about, and Xigera’s 11,000 acre private concession inside the Moremi Game Reserve ensures guests an exclusive and wildlife-rich experience. With an enviable balance between islands and waterways, Xigera offers both land and water activities (flood levels permitting), including game drives, walking safaris, boating, and mekoro excursions in unique glass-bottomed dugout canoes.
