A New Bag

Most charter flights within southern Africa enforce a baggage limitation of two soft bags per person – one larger bag to check in and one smaller bag to carry on, that total 44lbs.  Officially, the maximum dimensions of check-in baggage are 10 inches wide x 12 inches high and 24 inches long (although we have found that larger bags can generally be used as long as they are soft on all sides). Many of our clients prefer the convenience of wheeled luggage, but these bags generally have a solid bottom to accommodate the wheels and a retractable handle. We finally found one bag that fit the bill – the 24" High Sierra Wheel-n-Go Duffel...but now it has been discontinued!
