Mokete Camp and Planet II

Our Planet II with David Attenborough features the Mababe Marsh in Botswana, where the new Mokete Camp will be opening in September. Hidden between a sandveld ridge to the west and the great mopane forests of the east, the marsh hosts some of the continent's greatest herds of plains game – and with it, some of the most intense predator action to be witnessed in the country. For those who have feasted on Our Planet ll, you will have had a taste of this famed Mababe Marsh and the buffalo and lion battles that take place here.
To fully experience the never-ending panorama, Mokete's walls will be created from cantilevered canvas with roofs that slide away, revealing a panoply of stars. Accommodating just eighteen guests in nine tents, this pioneering camp promises luxury as well as intimate wildlife encounters, such as sharing a drink with elephants mid-day or hearing haunting hyena calls at night.
Wilderness Mokete, will have a limited-time offering and only be available for booking for two years, with a new signature camp, Wilderness Meraka opening in 2026.
