Usawa Serengeti Camp Migrates

Usawa Serengeti Camp features unmatched flexibility– moving with the herds of "Africa's greatest wildlife spectacle." In 2025, the camp will visit two additional extraordinary locations on its mobile circuit: Grumeti in the Western Corridor and Lamai in the northern Serengeti. Based on weather patterns, current wildlife movements, and past year's migration trends, the camp will be positioned in prime locations to witness the herds of wildebeest and ensuing predators in the coming months.

The Western Corridor is characterized by the meandering Grumeti River and a mosaic of woodlands, riverine forests, and plains, and plays a crucial role in the Great Migration between May and July. North of the Mara River, Lamai remains one of the Serengeti's most untouched regions. From mid-July, vast herds gather there during the rutting season, while the escarpment's streams provide cover for lion prides and leopards.

With these new locations, the Usawa Serengeti will offer one of the most unique and exclusive experiences across the Serengeti National Park.
