Lark from Raleigh, NC
September - Botswana and South Africa
Photos
taken with a Nikon D300, Lenses: Nikon VR 18-200 mm, 70-300 mm Telephoto and
Sigma 10-20 Wide Angle. I found I used the first lens about 60-70% of the time,
the second lens 25% and the wide angle only occasionally. The guides typically
got sufficiently close to the animals for nice close ups! Another
recommendation: Wolverine ESP 160 GB Multimedia Storage unit (only 13
oz).allowed me to backup all photos and videos every night. The Full Harvest
Moon over Botswana(Kings Pool Camp) picture was five shots of varying length
combined together to capture both the dark and light details of the
moonrise.
