A Giraffe's long neck and significant height brings several advantages: the ability to reach leaves on high branches that most animals cannot get to, and the ability to effectively scan their surroundings for threats. This giraffe kept a very close eye on a lion while it quenched its thirst at the Ol Donyo waterhole. Watch the footage here.
