Zambia has now dropped its requirement to show proof of vaccination against Covid-19. Currently, the only countries where you will need to show your Covid-19 vaccination certificate are Kenya, Tanzania, Zimbabwe and Mozambique.

Airlink, South Africa's premier airline, has begun daily service between Johannesburg and Nairobi, Kenya. Air France will also begin daily flights to Nairobi from Paris in June.

An African festival of arts and culture, FESTAC Africa, will take place at the Arusha International Conference Centre, Tanzania, from May 21-27. This is reportedly Africa's biggest festival celebrating culture and heritage in the form of arts, fashion, music, storytelling, poetry, film, short stories, travel, tourism, hospitality, food and dance through live performances from various countries in Africa. If you happen to be passing through Arusha during this time with time to spare it would be worth a visit.
