Eurowings, a low-cost subsidiary of the Lufthansa Group, will enter the South African market with a direct seasonal flight between Cape Town and Cologne, Germany, commencing on 5 November 2017 and operating until 26 March 2018.

SA Airlink has commenced the first flights on its new Cape Town-Victoria Falls route. The flight departs Cape Town International at 08h30 and arrives in Victoria Falls International at 11h15. The return flight departs Victoria Falls at 11h45 and arrives in Cape Town at 14h40. Flights operate daily, except Saturdays.
As recently advised by the Rwanda Tourism Board, the cost of gorilla permits has increased from US$750 to US$ 1,500 per person, with immediate effect.
