Sabi Sabi, Sabi Sand, South Africa, introduces unique crafted gins and beers

Various local artisanal distilleries are infusing gin, which in its original form has noticeable flavors of florals, herbs or juniper, with fragrances such as citrus, fynbos, spices and rooibos. Curated cocktails are then created with customized mixers and tonics bearing hints of elderflower and rose water. Fresh cucumber, muddled raspberries and zesty lemon slices add the finishing touch to these refreshing gin cocktails.

Darling Breweries, an award winning South African microbrewery based on the West Coast of South Africa, recently installed safari-inspired pint pourers at Sabi Sabi lodges. Drawing inspiration from the surrounding bushveld, these 'slow beers' will allow connoisseurs to appreciate the floral honey aromas, spicy flavors and undertones of grass in these superbly crafted light amber lagers.
