Summer in Zimbabwe has been hot and water has become a scarce commodity in Hwange National Park. With the water levels declining at the dams, life is getting increasingly challenging for the hippos. The herd at Masuma has become notorious for their unusual carnivorous habits (they have been observed eating impala) but, crushed together by the shrinking water, they have become more aggressive than ever, as evidenced by these photos showing two hippo chasing elephants across and out of the dam......
