Airport Fees in Zambia

Zambia's rather complex array of visa fees and departure taxes just became a little simpler with the elimination of the infrastructure development tax. Visitors to Zambia now pay one visa fee on arrival ($50 per person for a single entry, or $80 per person for a multiple entry visa), and two taxes on most departures: $5 security tax, and either $30 international departure tax (not payable on SAA or BA) OR $11 domestic departure tax. Please remember that while your visa fee is payable in US$, all departure taxes are payable in Zambian Kwacha, which can be procured from the airport's ATM machine (our representative will assist with procuring Kwacha).

Credit Cards in Zimbabwe

Credit cards are currently not widely accepted as a form of payment in Zimbabwe. Guests are encouraged to take small denominations of hard currency (US Dollars, GBP Sterling, Euros or South African Rand) when visiting Zimababwe to use for any purchases.
