Lion at the Kill. Duba Plains is in the Okavango Delta region of Botswana is the setting for Relentless Enemies, a National Geographic documentary of the lion and buffalo interaction unique to this area. On our third day in camp, we witnessed a kill - three females and a male lion brought down a old female buffalo. It is both exciting and sad, but it is nature in the raw. An experience we will never forget.

Cheetahs at Duma Tau. Aren't they beautiful! No, we did not pay them to pose for us.

Butterfly & Lion. This is an attempt to use depth-of-field to contrast the delicate butterfly with the powerful lioness in the background.

Elephant Procession. We were right in the middle of a herd of elephants crossing a plain. Duma Tau

Twilight. Stopped for a Sundowner - gin & tonic. The moon was full and just hanging over the contrasting trees-one very alive and one dead and starkly naked.
