Sample 9: The Majestic West - A Namibian Safari

Day 1

Arrive Johannesburg International Airport under your own arrangements. You will be met by a representative of our local partners who will assist you to your late morning scheduled flight to Windhoek.

You will be met and transferred by light charter aircraft to Little Kulala Lodge.

Days 1-3

Spend two nights at Little Kulala in a chalet, on a fully inclusive basis (including accommodation, all meals, high tea and hors d'oeuvres, all activities (except ballooning), all non-premium brand alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, laundry (water levels permitting), and the services of a professional guide).

Day 3

Today you will be collected from Kulala Desert Lodge and transferred by scenic charter flight to Desert Rhino Camp in Damaraland.

A late morning flight takes you over the dunes of the Namib and over Sossusvlei itself for an alternative view from the air, and then due westwards to Meob Bay on the Skeleton Coast. This flight provides spectacular desert and Skeleton Coast scenery, where the dunes and the desert meet the Atlantic Ocean. The flight up the coast takes guests over the site of the Eduard Bolen shipwreck, past Conception Bay and the wreck of the Shaunee, over Sandwich Harbour and its famous lagoon, before landing at Swakopmund. You will then continue further up the Skeleton Coast, past the Cape Cross Seal Colony, before turning east to fly up the Huab River to Desert Rhino Camp.

Days 3-5

Spend two nights at Desert Rhino Camp in a Tented Room, on a fully inclusive basis (including accommodation, all meals, high tea and hors d'oeuvres, all activities, all non-premium brand alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, laundry (water levels permitting), and the services of a professional guide).

Day 5

Today you will be collected from Desert Rhino Camp and transferred by light charter aircraft to Skeleton Coast Camp in remote north-eastern Namibia.

Days 5-8

Spend three nights at Skeleton Coast Camp in a Tented Room, on a fully inclusive basis (including accommodation, all meals, all activities, refreshments while on activity, all non-premium brand beverages, and the services of a professional guide).

Day 8

Today you will be collected from Skeleton Coast Camp and transferred by light charter aircraft to Ongava Private Game Reserve adjoining Etosha National Park.

Days 8-10

Spend two nights at Ongava Lodge in a Chalet, on a full board and activities basis (including accommodation, all meals, high tea and hors d'oeuvres, all activities, refreshments while on activity, all non-premium brand beverages, laundry, and the services of a professional guide)..

Day 10

Today you will be collected from Ongava Lodge and transferred by light charter aircraft to Windhoek International Airport. Check in for your scheduled flight to Johannesburg International Airport. From this point you will depart under your own arrangements.
