Sighting of the Quarter

11/10/2016

Changa Safari Camp in Matusadona National Park, Zimbabwe, is delighted to share some incredible nocturnal sightings captured on camera traps around the concession. These photographs were obtained by WildCRU (Oxford University) which has recently undertaken a survey in Matusadona National Park with the assistance of the Zambezi Society, National Parks and Wildlife Authority and the Matusadona Lion Project.

The purpose of the survey was to estimate population density, distribution and habitat of common predator species in the Park. These pictures reveal a rare insight into the nocturnal creatures that are often missed on game drives including, Caracal, White-tailed Mongoose, Juvenile leopard, Aardvark, Civet, and Porcupine.
