We have heard great reports about Braai, a South African restaurant in New York (329 W. 51st Street).Enjoy creative twists on favorites, such as biltong bruschetta, lamb bunny chow (curried lamb stew in a sourdough bread bowl) with a side of chakalaka, and traditional malva pudding (apricot sponge cake on a bed of Amarula Cream).

 

Visa fees for children under 16 years entering Kenya have been waived. Children are still required to obtain a visa, but there will be no cost associated. Kenya visas can be pre-purchased online here.

 

Talks are underway and direct flights between the United States and Kenya could commence as early as May 2016 – we will keep you posted.

 

John F Kennedy International Airport in New York is now using new face recognition technology to match a person's face to their passport.  Initially, the readers will be used to screen passengers arriving from countries where visas are waived and to randomly check on returning US citizens.
