Sighting of the Quarter

Kwando, Botswana, guests are enjoying one of the most coveted sightings in the safari viewing world – wild dog puppies! The pack at Lebala Camp introduced their litter of 14 a couple of weeks ago. At Lagoon Camp there are 8 puppies. Guests must be patient and sometimes wait a couple of hours before the little balls of fluff emerge from their den. Sometimes a sighting only lasts a minute, which is more than worth the wait, but puppy's time out of the den will increase with time and habituation.
