Now in its eleventh award-winning year, the Seychelle’s North Island continues to set the gold standard for “barefoot luxury” and has been voted second best hotel in Africa and the Middle East, and third best overall in the world in the latest Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Awards.

Wilderness Safaris is delighted to announce that its non-profit Children in the Wilderness (CITW) organization has won the PURE Award for Community Engagement. The Community Engagement category recognizes programs that “strategically and sensitively integrate the local community, aligning with the values and priorities of the inhabitants and protecting the authenticity of the culture, while enriching the experience of the traveler.

Singita Private Game Reserves (Boulders, Ebony, Lebombo, Sweni and Pamushana) has been awarded a World Tourism Award at World Travel Market 2014 in recognition of the company’s outstanding contribution to environmentally conscious hospitality.

The wild and wonderful Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp has won the Most Out Of This World Tatler Travel Award. To be awarded the Out of this World title, the property must have recently opened and feature something inspiring and new to the world of luxury travel.
