Based on a new law in South Africa, all children under the age of 18 traveling to the country will need to present a notarized copy of their birth certificate at the immigration desk. The purpose of the law, which comes into effect on October 1st, is to prevent child trafficking - a genuine problem in much of Africa. If the child will not be accompanied by both parents additional documentation is required. Please contact us for more information.
