CONGRATULATIONS to Lara and Jerry who married at Singita Private Game Reserve on May 29th. Judging from the photos and first-hand accounts it was an absolutely beautiful event! As Lara wrote: "There are days when dreams collide and create memories you never dreamed possible...May 29th was one of those days for us...nothing but sunshine and happiness." We wish Lara and Jerry a wonderful adventure-filled life together.





Classic Africa's friend and multiple repeat client Fred Krakowiak has received accolades for his second book, The Artist's Safari. Summarized as "An amazing chronicle, in words, photos, and paintings ..." it was named as one of three finalists in the prestigious 2013 Benjamin Franklin Awards competition and was awarded a silver medal. Fred is a regular traveler to Africa, where he seeks adventure and artistic inspiration. His work is displayed at the Contemporary Fine Arts Gallery in La Jolla, California.
