In September 2007 Talley Smith travelled with her family from her island home in Bermuda to MalaMala Private Game Reserve. She was so enamored with the safari experience that she arranged to spend the next year at Entabeni Nature Guide Training in the Limpopo Valley of the Waterberg, South Africa, where she completed theoretical and practical training. After qualifying as a Ranger she spent three years guiding at Lion Sands Private Game Reserve in the Sabi Sand Reserve and is now very happily installed at Londolozi Private Game Reserve, also in the Sabi Sand, where she has guided Classic Africa guests to high acclaim.
