Pierre's November safari took him through some of the most remote and scenically spectacular regions of southern Africa, as well as one of the region's most prolific game-viewing areas. From the soaring dunes of Sossusvlei to the far-flung Kunene River Valley, from Damaraland's desert rhinos to the "Big Five" of Kruger National Park, few safari combinations can highlight southern Africa's incredible diversity quite as dramatically as a journey through both bushveld and desert.

Despite a rather gruelling schedule that included visits to 53 safari camps, lodges, and hotels, Pierre returned energized and captivated by Africa's charms: "It's always an incredible privilege for us to visit these remarkable places; no matter how many times I return, I'm reminded anew just what a transformative experience safari can be. It's a natural high that keeps me going for months!"
