Leopard Cubs Play on Guest Tent at Mara Plains Camp

1/14/2021

Any guide will tell you that leopard cubs are among the hardest animals to find on safari. Cognizant of the many safety risks from other predators, birds of prey, and even baboons, leopard mothers diligently seek out the most impenetrable locations to give birth and hide their cubs for the first few weeks of their lives. Which is what makes THIS VIDEO of two-day-old cubs from our partners at Mara Plains Camp in the Maasai Mara so extraordinary - the extent to which the mother trusts the staff and guests at the camp, to allow the cubs to play on the tent roof, is remarkable!
