United to Begin Direct Flights to Johannesburg

In a recent press release, United confirmed that they will start operating a daily, direct, non-stop flight between Newark and Johannesburg in the spring of 2021. The routing will operate year-round, using a Boeing 787-9. The exact start date for the new route have not yet been confirmed – stay tuned for details as they are announced.
