Life-Changing Solar Pump Donation to Otjinungua Mobile School Bank Windhoek has generously donated a solar pump to Otjinungua Mobile School in Namibia's far northern Marienfluss Conservancy. This gift facilitates access to precious water, which has elevated basic health and general hygiene standards and allowed the school to implement an eco-garden. |

Conservation Success Story |
Pangolins, also known as scaly anteaters, are reclusive and nocturnal animals that roll up into a ball when threatened. They are seldom seen in the wild and are very hard to raise in captivity, yet pangolins have become the most heavily trafficked species in the world (other than humans). Up to 200,000 are estimated to be taken from the wild every year across Africa and Asia. |
Cottar's is grateful for the coordination efforts of everyone involved with this pangolin rescue, in particular The Pangolin Project, which is working to rehabilitate and release the pangolin. |
