Seronera Airstrip


Enhanced security measures have been put in place at the Seronera airstrip, Serengeti National Park, Tanzania. The regulations are mirrored on international standards, so liquids, aerosols and gels above 3.4 ounces are not allowed on one's person or in hand luggage beyond the screening point. In the absence of x-ray and screening equipment, all luggage is opened for inspection and persons will be hand screened.



Minors Travelling to South Africa, Namibia & Botswana



Nambia has joined South Africa and Botswana to require that all children under the age of 18 traveling to the country will need to present a notarized copy of their birth certificate at the immigration desk. If the child will not be accompanied by both parents additional documentation is required and travelers should contact us for more information.




Devil's Pool Open for Swimming




Swimming in the Devil's Pool on Livingstone Island, Zambia, has commenced for the season. This water-dependent excursion can be arranged for guests staying at Tongabezi, Sindabezi, and Toka Leya.




Direct Flight to Kenya


The first-ever non-stop flight routing between Nairobi (NBO) and New York (JFK) will commence on October 28th. Kenya Airways flight KQ 002 will depart Nairobi daily at 11:35 p.m., arriving in New York City at 6:25 a.m. the following morning - totaling a 14-hour trip. Return flights depart JFK at 12:25 p.m., arriving in Kenya at 10:55 a.m. the next day, after 15 hours.
