The James Sedgwick Distillery, Africa's first commercial whisky distillery, located in Wellington (western Cape) is now open to the public for tours and whisky pairings. Guests are invited to explore the true passion and craftsmanship of South Africa's whiskies, understand the art of whisky-making, and learn about the history of the distillery which spans 130 years, from its founding in 1850 by Captain James Sedgwick.

The Cape Grace Hotel has announced that Concierge Manager, Hoon Kim, has received his Golden Keys. The Society of the Golden Keys, also called Les Clefs d'Or, began in Paris in 1929 to acknowledge professionalism, integrity, local knowledge and impeccable recommendations displayed by concierge staff worldwide. Congratulations Hoon Kim!
