Life-Changing Solar Pump Donation to Otjinungua Mobile School Bank Windhoek has generously donated a solar pump to Otjinungua Mobile School in Namibia's far northern Marienfluss Conservancy. This gift facilitates access to precious water, which has elevated basic health and general hygiene standards and allowed the school to implement an eco-garden.

Cooking for Conservation
Bushcamp Company has collated its chef's favorite recipes into a cookbook, which is now available for online download for $15 here. All proceeds benefit the company's conservation and community projects, in partnership with CSL Zambia.

Helping Farmers in Zimbabwe
As a recipient of Wilderness Safari's Conservation Heroes COVID-Relief assistance, Zimbabwe's Sankoyo Village farmer Lenkemetse "Tracy" Nteashoma is the embodiment of the community members the program supports with food and hygiene essentials, as well as farming assistance. Watch her inspirational video here.

It costs $50 to feed a family for a month - or $5,000 to cover the monthly operations of an anti-poaching team. Every single contribution, regardless of size, makes a significant difference. Consider making a donation here

The Great Plains Conservation Adventure Challenge

Conservation Success Story
The Cottar's Wildlife Conservation Trust (CWCT) in Kenya recently reported the remarkable recovery of a pangolin that was being held in a village near the Conservancy. The culprit was attempting to illegally traffic the pangolin, and with the help of Kenya Wildlife Service officers, three accomplices were arrested.

Pangolins, also known as scaly anteaters, are reclusive and nocturnal animals that roll up into a ball when threatened. They are seldom seen in the wild and are very hard to raise in captivity, yet pangolins have become the most heavily trafficked species in the world (other than humans). Up to 200,000 are estimated to be taken from the wild every year across Africa and Asia.

Cottar's is grateful for the coordination efforts of everyone involved with this pangolin rescue, in particular The Pangolin Project, which is working to rehabilitate and release the pangolin.
