THE FYNBOS

FHM Brandy Cocktail 2012 competition winner, Eugene Thompson, has shown that "local is always lekker" with his brandy cocktail named "The Fynbos."
Recipe via SA Brandy

• 1 tsp. honey
• 1 tsp. ginger liqueur
• 1/4c brandy
• 2 T sugar syrup
• 1/4c chilled rooibos tea

Method:

1. Chill a martini glass before creating the cocktail
2. Combine rooibos tea, honey, ginger liquor, sugar syrup and brandy
3. Shake well
4. Strain into the chilled martini glass
5. Garnish with a piece of lemon peel
6. Cheers!
