Zambia Wins African Cup - a boon for the Country's national pride

While our usual reporting from Zambia concerns its prolific wildlife and luxurious lodgings, this quarter we recognize the country's sporting prowess. The Chipolopolo Boys, Zambia's national football (soccer) team, won the African Cup of Nations in February by defeating the "giants" of African football - the Ivory Coast. The victory is a source of great pride for Zambians, raising the nation's morale, confidence, and profile on the world stage. As their coach Herve Renard passionately mused: "There was a sign of destiny, a force within us. Maybe it was meant to be, I can't explain it, honestly I can't explain it. Something was written in the stars"
