Your Vote Made a Difference

Thank you to all our readers who voted for the lion research project currently underway in Zambia's Kafue National Park, which was described in detail in Classic Africa News, Volume 1, 2010,"Conserving the King of the Beasts." The project was eligible for funding through a competition being hosted by Puma and the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP). Votes poured in and the Lion Project will receive much needed funding to continue its important work.
