HIGHLIGHTS OF ZAMBIA SAFARI

This eight day fly-in safari combines Zambia's two premier game-viewing Parks with the spectacular Victoria Falls. Between the two safari camps guests will be treated to a splendid diversity of wildlife, and the full range of safari activities, including game drives, night drives, canoeing, walking safaris, and game-viewing by pontoon. Departures are any day of the week (based on availability at the camps) from May 1st to October 31st.

Day 1

Guests arrive at Livingstone airport under their own arrangements. You will be met at the airport and transferred by vehicle to Sussi Lodge.

Days 1 to 3

Spend 2 nights at Sussi Lodge inside the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. In addition to a guided tour of the Victoria Falls, you will also have the opportunity to enjoy game-drives and walks in the National Park (with the possibility of seeing rhinos), boat cruises on the Zambezi River, a visit to a local village, and fishing. Various optional extra activities are also on offer at the Falls, including white water rafting and bungee jumping.


Day 3

Transfer by vehicle to Livingstone airport to connect with your light aircraft charter flight to Jeki airstrip in the remote Lower Zambezi National Park. From Jeki it is a game-drive transfer to Kulefu Tented Camp in the most easterly portion of the Park.

Days 3 to 6

Spend three nights at Kulefu Tented Camp exploring this game rich and scenically beautiful Park through a variety of activities. A highlight is drifting down the Zambezi River in a canoe or pontoon watching game come to the River to drink, with the imposing Zambian escarpment as backdrop. High concentrations of predators are also to be found in this area.


Day 6

A game-drive transfer takes you to Jeki airstrip for your charter flight to Mfuwe in the famous South Luangwa National Park. From Mfuwe you will be transferred by open safari vehicle to Chichele Presidential Lodge.

Days 6 to 8

Spend two nights at the stylish and luxurious Chichele Presidential Lodge. South Luangwa is famous for its lush 'dambos' (floodplains) that attract herds of herbivores, and the predators that feed on them. It is also the birthplace of the walking safari, and guests have the opportunity to experience the Park's bountiful wildlife through day and night drives, as well as walking safaris. And between all the excitement and adventure, take the opportunity to relax in Zambia's most splendid safari lodge.


Day 8

Today you will be transferred by safari vehicle to Mfuwe for your charter flight to Lusaka. From Lusaka you will bid farewell to Zambia and connect with your international departure flight (under your own arrangements).
