HWANGE PORTFOLIOHwange National Park is widely regarded as Zimbabwe's premier game park. Roughly six thousand square miles in size, Hwange boasts around 105 species of mammals, and 410 species of birds. All Zimbabwe's specially protected animals are to be found in Hwange, and it is one of the best reserves in Africa for sightings of rare and beautiful species of antelope such as sable and roan. Predators occur in high concentrations, and Hwange is one of the few Parks north of South Africa with a good rhino population.
