Day 1 Arrive Johannesburg International Airport and check in for your scheduled flight to Livingstone. You will be met and transferred by vehicle to Toka Leya Camp. Days 1-3 Spend two nights at Toka Leya in a Tented Room, on a fully inclusive basis (Including accommodation, 3 meals daily, local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, laundry, 2 activities per day includeing a river cruise, a game drive into the Park, a tour of the Zambian side of the Falls, a tour of Livingstone town and museum and a visit to a nearby village and local curio shops). Day 3 Today you will be transferred by vehicle to Livingstone Airport. You will be met and transferred by light charter aircraft to Lusaka, from where you will connect to Mfuwe Airport. From Mfuwe Airport it is a game-drive transfer to Puku Ridge Tented Camp. Days 3-5 Spend two nights at Puku Ridge Camp in a Tented Room, on a fully inclusive basis (including accommodation, all meals, drinks, game -viewing activities, laundry, and the services of a professional guide). Day 5 Today you will be collected from Puku Ridge Camp and transferred by vehicle to Mfuwe. From Mfuwe you will be transferred by light charter aircraft to Kalamu Lagoon Camp. Kalamu Lagoon Camp is located within the Luamfwa Concession in the wild and exclusive southern sector of the South Luangwa National Park. The camp is beautifully situated on the banks of Kalamu Lagoon. Accommodation consists of eight spacious safari-style tents, each en-suite with both an indoor and outdoor shower. The camp's dining and bar area is set under a canopy of giant ebony trees, and features a pool and viewing deck with spectacular views of the lagoon in front of camp. South Luangwa is renowned as the best walking destination in Africa and guests have the option of exploring the Luangwa riverine vegetation and adjacent dambos on guided walks. Other activities include day-and-night wildlife-viewing drives. Herds of elephant and buffalo, as well as dominant antelope species such as impala and puku are often seen. Other antelope include common waterbuck, bushbuck, eland, kudu, grysbok, oribi, reedbuck, Lichtenstein's hartebeest, sable and roan. Species such as Thornicroft's giraffe and Cookson's wildebeest occur nowhere else in the world and the area's leopard viewing is legendary. Days 5-8 Spend three nights at Kalamu Lagoon Camp in a Tented Room, on a fully inclusive basis (including accommodation, all meals, drinks, game -viewing activities, laundry, and the services of a professional guide). Day 8 Today you will be transferred by light charter aircraft to Mfuwe. From Mfuwe you will be transferred by light charter aircraft to Lusaka, connecting to Jeki Airstrip. From Jeki you will then be transferred by game-drive vehicle to Kulefu Camp. Day 8-11 Spend three nights at Kulefu Camp in a Tented Room, on a fully inclusive basis (including accommodation, all meals, drinks, game -viewing activities, laundry, and the services of a professional guide). Day 11 Today you will be collected from Kulefu Camp and transferred by game-drive vehicle to Jeki Airstrip. From Jeki you will be transferred by light charter aircraft to Lusaka. Check in for your scheduled flight to Johannesburg. From this point you will depart under your own arrangements. Rough Cost - 2010 From around $7,595 to around $8,695 per person sharing.
