SAMPLE ITINERARY 11

Essential South Africa

Day 1

Arrive at Cape Town International Airport under your own arrangements. You will be met at the airport by a representative of our local partners who will transfer you by private vehicle to Kensington Place.

Days 1-4

Spend three nights at Kensington Place in a Double Room, with breakfast included.

Day 2

Today a Group D rental vehicle will be delivered to you at Kensington Place. A Group D is a Honda Civic/Ford Focus, or similar, with automatic transmission, power steering, air conditioning, and a radio/tape player; including unlimited mileage, the option of cellular phone rental, collision damage waiver, theft loss waiver, personal accident insurance, national and regional maps. A GPS unit will also be included. With your vehicle you will be able to explore the highlights of the Western Cape.

Day 4

Today you will depart Kensington Place and drive to Roggeland Country House near Paarl in the Cape Winelands (about a 45 minute drive).

Days 4-6

Spend two nights at Roggeland in a Superior Room, on a full board basis (including accommodation, breakfast, pre-dinner wine, and a four-course dinner - each course accompanied by an appropriate wine).

Day 6

Today you will depart Roggeland Country House and drive to Cape Town International Airport. Return your rental vehicle and GPS unit and check in for your scheduled flight to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. You will be met and transferred by light charter aircraft to Honeyguide Mantobeni Camp in the Manyeleti section of Kruger Park.

Days 6-8

Spend two nights at Honeyguide Mantobeni Camp in a tented room on a full board and activities basis (including tented accommodation, all meals, all safari activities, teas and coffees, and the services of a professional guide).

Day 8

Today you will be collected from Honeyguide Mantobeni Camp and transferred by light charter aircraft to Londolozi Varty's Camp in the Sabi Sand region of Kruger.

Days 8-11

Spend three nights at Londolozi Varty's Camp in a Chalet, on a fully inclusive basis (including accommodation, three meals daily, all local spirits, beers and soft drinks, as well as selected wines, game-drives in open safari vehicles, nature walks with your tracker, and laundry).

Day 11

Today you will be collected from Londolozi Varty's Camp and transferred by light charter aircraft to Johannesburg International Airport. From this point you will depart under your own arrangements.
