This exciting six night / seven day fly-in safari covers some of the major highlights of Namibia, including Sossusvlei, the Skeleton Coast, Damaraland, and Etosha. Guests fly between destinations on shared charter flights to maximize efficiency and to provide a spectacular "bird's eye" view as complement to the experience "on the ground" at each of the camps. The safari has daily departures, operates year round, and has no minimum guest requirements

Days 1 and 2

Depart from Windhoek for a one-hour flight to the Kulala Wilderness Reserve, spending two nights at Little Kulala Desert Lodge, an exclusive  desert enclave with just eleven luxurious "kulalas" (Swahili for resting place). Each spacious, climate-controlled "kulala" is comprised of a large bedroom and living room area, an en-suite bathroom, with both indoor and outdoor showers, and a viewing deck with plunge pool. A rooftop "skybed" is a unique feature offering a superlative private star-gazing experience.

Little Kulala enjoys a private entrance into the Park, enabling guests to reach the Sossusvlei dunes early in the morning, when the colors are at their most magnificent. Sossusvlei is a place where distance and perspective become warped, and time appears to lose all sense of purpose; in its tortured beauty, it is a landscape that appears to have sprung directly from a Salvador Dali canvas. The drive into the Sossusvlei / Deadvlei area takes guests along the dry riverbed of the Tsauchab River, past row upon row of dramatic dunes, through what could only be described as one of the most unique areas in the world.

Days 3 and 4

Luxury African Safaris - Best of Namibia Wing Safari | Luxury African Safari Vacations | Classic AfricaA special morning flight takes guests over the dunes of the Namib and over Sossusvlei itself for an alternative view from the air. You will be treated to spectacular scenery, where the dunes and desert meet the icy Atlantic Ocean. Land at Swakopmund airport, and connect to another scenic flight further up the Skeleton Coast, past the Cape Cross Seal Colony, before turning east to fly up the Huab River to Damaraland Camp for two nights.

Best of Namibia Wing Safari | Luxury African Safari Vacations | Classic Africa - Luxury African SafarisDamaraland Camp is situated on the northern face of the Huab River valley, looking south toward the imposing Brandberg Mountains. This friendly camp offers walks and drives in one of the most intriguing wilderness areas in Namibia. Although wildlife is not concentrated, Damaraland Camp is situated where the rare Desert Elephant roams, alongside Gemsbok (Oryx), Springbok, Ostrich and other hardy desert animals. Rare succulent plants also manage to eke out an existence in this harsh landscape.

Days 5 and 6

Today you depart Damaraland and fly to Ongava Tented Camp, for a further two nights' stay. Highlights here are the game drives into Etosha National Park as well as the night drives, walks and hides on the private reserve.

Best of Namibia Wing Safari | Luxury African Safari Vacations | Classic Africa - Best Luxury African SafarisOngava Tented Camp is situated along the southern boundary of Etosha National Park in the 68,000 Acre, privately owned Ongava Game Reserve. Activities include game drives in open Landrovers into the Okaukuejo area of Etosha where Lion, Elephant, Cheetah, Gemsbok, Springbok, and Hartebeest can be seen. In addition, night drives, hides and walks are enjoyed on the private reserve. Ongava boasts resident White and Black Rhino, affording guests wonderful opportunities to see both species at close quarters, and perhaps track them on foot.

Day 7

Depart Ongava at 10:40am and fly back to Windhoek where the safari ends at Eros Airport (arrival time roughly 12:20pm).
